PVC banner and what PVC Banner materials to use can be difficult to get your head around, especially if you are just starting out this this product range. Don't worry, this blog will give you the low down on whats what's and what you need.
PVC Banners
PVC banners are versatile and suitable for both indoor and outdoor use, much like mesh banners. Unlike mesh banners, PVC banners do not have any holes, which can make them more susceptible to tearing in high winds when placed outdoors. Additionally, PVC banners are a cost-effective option compared to mesh banners, making them a popular choice for various applications.
There are two thicknesses of PVC banner that we supply. 440gsm and 510 gsm.
440gsm PVC Banner material
The 440gsm PVC Banner is Signmasters most popular PVC Banner material. It's cost effective, durable and provides a great print finish. Everything you need for a standard PVC Banner.

510gsm PVC Banner Material
Just like the 440gsm pvc banner material, the 510gsm provides the same key features but it is thicker. This would be a prefered material if you wanted it to be outdoors long term and it would be tested more by the weather. It wouldn't guarantee any ripping but it would definitely be stronger. If you needed PVC Banner material which would be better in windy areas then we would recommend Mesh Banner
PVC Mesh Banner
PVC Mesh Banner 380gsm With Liner
We supply PVC Mesh Banner 380gsm With Liner, it's a mesh like banner material which is printed on in the same way as normal PVC banner, it has a protective liner to prevent the ink damaging your printer. This liner is then removed after printing / drying. Its main feature is that it has small holes which allow air to flow through, making them ideal for outdoor advertising.

They don't block out light – The tiny holes in the banner allow light to pass through which make them an ideal choice for advertising over a window or on scaffolding. You can get up to 40% air-flow through them.

They are wind resistant – Again, the holes allow wind to pass through, so they don’t flap or get torn down as easily. They are particularly advantageous in windy areas and for a range of outdoor uses.
- All Mesh banners come with a PVC backing which makes the feeding and printing much easier
- Raw Material 100% Polyester
- Compatible with Eco-solvent, Solvent and UV inks.
- Fire-rated to B1 standard (DIN 4102)
- Available in 1370mm x 30m and 1600mm x 30m rolls.
- Mesh Banner does not have any adhesive and therefore has great shelf life. It's always a good idea to have one available so you can upsell this product to your customers.
